About Us

Mid-Peninsula Waterpolo Club is a non-profit community based water polo club serving boys and girls of all ages and abilities. Our goal is to build better athletes and better people through a character-building youth sports experience. We treat each other with respect, listen to each other, and serve each other and our community. We practice good sportsmanship and hold ourselves to the highest standards of fair play. Our athletes learn how to play water polo so they can have fun with friends and be competitive at the youth, high school, college level and beyond.

USA Water Polo age groups start at 10U and go up to 18U in two year increments. A typical age group player might start in 6th, 7th or 8th grade and play all the way through high school. Many players go on to play in college. Mid-Peninsula is growing fast due to the rapidly increasing interest in water polo in our community in addition to our community outreach to kids who may never have been exposed to the speed, fun and joy of a cool game of water polo on hot summers day.
